My process for creativity is DO IT, an acronym that stands for: D - Define problem O - Open mind and apply creative techniques I - Identify best solution T - Transform DO IT is a structured process for creativity. Using DO IT ensures that you carry out the essential groundwork that helps you to get the most out of creativity tools. (DO IT was devised by Robert W Olsen in his book ‘The Art of Creative Thinking’.) What am I working on? I have a few irons in the fire right now including a web development project for a cabin company in the Smokies. Here's their old logo and header and the new proposed logo, I recreated their signature branch and freshened up the look and feel.
Nouveau Classics and eGroup commissioned me to create a new handout piece for them to distribute at the Knoxville and Nashville home shows. Paula Clancy of Nouveau Classics has a great eye for design and has been a great friend and supporter of my work. Gregg VanDergriff at eGroup truly has some amazing work, the way eGroup incorporates high end electronics into your lifestyle is great and they make it easy to operate, no more days of 6 remote controls. Nouveau also has a direct mail campaign that will be launched with this other piece I created.
